Synthetic content

Every image and video produced by AI CMO is synthetic media generated by machine-learning models. The personas depicted are fictional. Any resemblance to a real person is unintentional unless you, the user, have deliberately prompted the model to produce such a likeness, which you may only do with the depicted person's documented written consent.

Your disclosure obligations

You are solely responsible for disclosing the synthetic nature of any generated content you publish, distribute, or use in marketing, advertising, political communication, news, or any other context. Disclosure requirements vary by jurisdiction and platform and may include, without limitation:

  • EU AI Act (transparency obligations for deepfakes and AI-generated content);
  • U.S. FTC endorsement, testimonial, and "Made with AI" guidance, plus state-level laws (California AB 2655/2839, Texas HB 2545, and other deepfake statutes);
  • Platform-specific rules from Meta (Instagram/Facebook), TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snap, and others requiring AI-generated content to be labeled;
  • Advertising standards authorities (ASA, NAD, EASA) and sector-specific rules (financial, medical, political).

Watermarks and provenance

Different upstream providers apply different watermarks or provenance signals — for example, Google's Gemini image model embeds a SynthID watermark; some providers attach C2PA content credentials; many open-source models embed nothing at all. AI CMO does not add, remove, strip, or guarantee any watermark or provenance metadata. We make no representation about what signals are or are not present in any particular output. If a specific platform, regulator, or client requires a particular provenance signal, verify the output yourself before publishing.

No likeness of real people without consent

You may not use the Service to generate content depicting a real, identifiable person unless that person has given you verifiable written consent. Non-consensual deepfakes, sexualized content depicting real individuals, and impersonation for fraud or defamation are strictly prohibited under our Terms.

Accuracy

Generated content is not factual, does not reflect real events, and may contain errors, stereotypes, or biases inherited from training data. Do not rely on it as a source of truth.
